Founded in January 1999, the Professional Speakers Association represents "Experts who speak for a living," who are based in the UK and Ireland.

This site is designed to help you find a speaker for your meetings, to encourage speakers to join their professional association and to enable members to keep in touch with one another and share best practices in order to raise the standards of presentation and professionalism.

The website is regularly updated with information about our local and national events and about the business of professional speaking.

First, check out the President's To Enlighten and Entertain message.

Why become a member?

Professional Speakers are people who make a living, or at least a substantial part of their living from speaking on stage. The craft of speaking is different to training or making sales presentations. Professional speaking requires specific competencies and the PSA is an organisation that can help you develop the skills and learn how to make a business out of speaking.

To learn how to speak effectively - we recommend that you join a local speaking club. There are two primary organisations.
