Showcase by Kate Atkin: Precision Thinking for Confident Outcomes

Have you experienced knocking knees, a dry throat or churning stomach before an important business meeting? Do your butterflies fly in formation, or are they flitting all over the place at the thought of making a presentation? What do your thoughts have to do with your success in business? Science is providing us with increasing proof that our thoughts affect our feelings, behaviour and the results. So how can you get into the right state of mind whatever the occasion?

Covering five top tips for Precision Thinking, this 20 minute presentation could be just the boost you need. The strategies presented by Kate Atkin, of Aspire 2 are based on research of the brain and body connection and will show you how to use your brain effectively.

........ And our mystery guest from the Million Dollar Round Table!!

As well as plenty of time for networking, discussions and brainstorming AND chat over tea & biscuits, together with a scrummy hot lunch, what more could you ask for??

Comments from previous meetings....... Dear Kate and Terry,

Very many thanks for inviting me to speak on Thursday. I thoroughly enjoyed everything that we did.

I think that it is a great thing to be able to spend a whole day 'messing around' with speaking. It was very good to have the time to watch and then dissect the Steph du Plessis (spelling?) video. There is time to think, time to explore, time to engage and when you get a super group like that together there is a group dynamic that you simply cannot create in an evening. Perhaps we are all too tired by then?

So congratulations on running a gem of a Chapter.

Tim Kidson

Just a note to thank you for the opportunity to present my keynote yesterday. The feedback was pretty radical, but all the more useful for that. I got a lot out of the rest of the meeting. Don’t you meet such interesting people at the PSA?
